THINK LIKE A WINNER - BOOK REVIEW

THINK LIKE A WINNER- BOOK REVIEW

THINK LIKE A WINNER - BOOK REVIEW
If you’re a Christ follower, then you’ll really enjoy  THINK LIKE A WINNER  How Renewing Your Mind with God's Word Empowers You to Win in Life  by Krystal Kuehn.

This Christian walk book tells us God's plan of taking part in our lives so as to empower us to think and live like a Winner. I received a review copy of the book a few days ago and have been reading through it during the days and nights.

Have you been daydreaming to be Christ-like?
Think Like A Winner is a Christian book targeted at those people who want to be transformed and live like a Christ-like person, especially for those who find their lives fundamentally unrewarding, un-enriching and un-fulfilling.  If this sounds like you, then you will like the author, guided by the spirit, is talking your language and telling you lively on how to gain the highest perspective on life by strengthening your faith.

This book is a perfect companion to your Christian life journey.  Gives you a good understanding of God's promises on who you are in Christ that will transform You from inside out. It starts with a beautiful, meaningful and powerful verse, Roman 12:2 which is the corner stone of the winning formula
 .
This Is The Every Christian’s Life Companion
I think that what I enjoyed most about this book is the overall process in detailing, how you need to embrace, think and live like a Winner.  This is the book that truly builds up the foundation that results in profound changes in your life with a deepened understanding and relationship with the Lord that leads to true fulfillment in Him. This highest perspective will open the readers' hearts to Him. It’s about the transformation process that take place in order to enable anyone to see from God's perspective. Then follow by steps to strengthen one's faith by staying and connecting with Him to draw His strength to overcome whatever obstacles and barriers that come along your journey.  That’s what makes this book worth reading.
Kuehn writes more than the way you or I would tell a Winning way by sharing the process that moves you to think like a winner before you will be given ample examples and exercises on how to apply and put Biblical truth, principles and live with it.
As you read through the book, you’ll be able to visualise how the entire plan of life designed, by the One above, for your good.  By living inside you, to lead you to live life like winner so long as you chose so . In this connection, you will able to see the familiar themes of born again, relationship building, unlearnt and re-learnt.  The book isn’t meant to persuade or dissuade you – it’s meant to inform and educate you so that you can make a good decision about what is wanting for your good.

Biblical principles, Application and Revelation
You can probably read this book in a leisurely weekend.  Pray before reading it.  It’s less than 40 pages, light, practically useful and well supported by all the relevant and material biblical verses.  Each chapter flows not only smoothly, but is well connected from one chapter to the other before leading you the way to live like a Winner, apart from the exercises of its application.

The Title Is Precise, Concise and Exactly Right
It should sell quite a few copies on the title alone. Important lesson to me and I have to admit the title is irresistible.

Live as a Winner definitely is a noble goal, because it propels and prospers you to the greater height of success. Grounded with good, sound and solid understanding of this transformation will ease your Christian walk. You will be empowered to walk by faith, and not by sight. Consistent and persistent application is the surest way to live like a winner.

This book is ideal for anyone who feels you had been living life without much meaning and is looking for inspiration to go off on his own.

Q and A

James: When did you begin to write?

Kuehn : One of my earliest memories of writing as a way to express myself is when I wrote music and lyrics.  That is when I discovered how natural it was for me to share my thoughts and feelings in this art form.  Years later I began writing articles when I was asked to write a column for the local paper.  Receiving a great deal of unexpected, positive feedback from people of how they had been encouraged and helped by what I wrote was a real motivator for me to write more.  That is when I decided to write books.

James : What made you to think of publishing a book to share with others and at the same time encourage others to share their faiths?

Kuehn : (This question is partially answered above.  I will answer it more specifically about my book, Think Like a Winner.)

The reason I wrote and published Think Like a Winner is because I want people to understand the importance of renewing their minds, as commanded in the Word of God, after they become saved.  It doesn’t just happen.  In Think Like a Winner I explain the process and give examples of how to apply and practice God’s Word.   This is the key to knowing who we are in Christ and living the abundant life Jesus died to give us.

James : So far what is your worst criticism/attacks, and how you overcome it?

Kuehn : Believe it or not, my worst criticism/attacks are against my Christian faith and my boldness in sharing it.  I do not take it personally because I know it is God they are angry with. So I overcome it by praying for these people and thanking God for using me to glorify Him.

James: How do you come up with title of your books?

Kuehn: I generally come up with the title after the book is completed.  I have a goal and direction from the start, and I pull it all together at the end because sometimes my writing takes on a different direction that I did not originally anticipate.

James: Can you enlighten us a little more about your books?

Kuehn : My books are written from the heart, and I trust the Lord to work in and through me to communicate His love, encouragement, compassion, understanding, wisdom, insight and perspective as best I can.  Because I have a passion to encourage people and help them be their best, my books are written with that goal in mind.  They are inspirational, positive and hopeful.

James: Is there anything else you would like your readers to pay special attention in regards to your book, which you have not mentioned above?

Kuehn : Yes, pay special attention to what the Lord is showing you as you read my books.  He may have a word of encouragement or comfort for you.  Be open and look to Him. It might be some new insight or direction.  You may be challenged in some way.  Be open and enjoy what you read.

James : When do you plan to publish your book 2, if applicable?

Kuehn: Currently published, see below.

James: How many volume of books for the above series?

Kuehn: The perfect companion to Think Like a Winner is In Christ, I am: God’s Promises on Who You Are in Christ that Will Transform You from the Inside Out.  It contains over 150 truths about who you are in Christ.  We renew our minds and think like a winner when we receive, believe, apply and practice these truths.   The other book included in the series is God’s Promises in 8 Keys Life Areas that Will Change Your Life.  This is another book to empower believers in applying God’s truth to their life.

James: Tell us your guided principle that governs your life? How you cultivate these values?

Kuehn:  My goal is to live my life for God.  I have a responsibility to use the gifts He has given me.  I do my best and my part, and I leave the rest to Him.   There are so many powerful principles in the Word of God.  I want to live by all of them, but if one were to be the guiding principle that governs my life, I would have to say – Love the Lord God with all your heart and soul, love others and love yourself.  If you do this, you will obey Him; you will treat others with kindness and love; you will give and help others; you will take good care of yourself; you will have your priorities in order; you will live with integrity; you will live to glorify God; you will put Him first; you will spend time with Him.  I cultivate these values by putting them into practice.  Like I share in my books, it takes time to develop good habits and replace bad ones and knowing who we are in Christ helps us to accomplish this. With God’s help, it can be done.  It takes persistence, faith and commitment.

Thank again for joining us today. So, let her rewarding and fulfilling life shine everyone.
